It's been a wonderful month for us here in Nicaragua!

Pastor Randy Howard, a long-time faithful friend, supporter, & board member of MCM,  [of Gate Church in California] held 3 specific seminars to minister first, to apostles, pastors and spiritual leaders, then, to the national leaders & political candidates, and finally to the business men & women of Nicaragua. These meetings had a powerful impact, not only on the individual lives of these leaders, but on the future potential of Nicaragua. This is a critical year for our country politically and spiritually; and in these seminars, all of the spiritual, political, and business leaders committed themselves to follow the Lord and to serve their people and nation with integrity and obedience to God.  Please pray that they will be strong in the Lord and well able to walk faithfully in these trying and crucial times that Nicaragua might become a righteous nation!  Following this powerful 3-day event, the board of apostles and I feel an urgency to extend this impact by holding a nationwide Call to Repentance Day of Prayer for the spiritual renewal of all apostles, pastors and spiritual leaders of the nation.  Setting doctrine aside, the focus of this day would be about purifying our hearts and relationships with God and one another, in order that the Lord may bless our land once again, according to 2 Chronicles 7:14. We cannot expect God to bless and guide the president and political leaders of our nation, if the spiritual leaders are not right with God and each other.  It must begin with us!  Pray about this, as it will require many man-hours and thousands of dollars to accomplish such a nationwide meeting! If we are to see God move in our nation, it will require humility & unity among the spiritual leaders. We would like to see this take place as soon as possible this year!

Immediately after this event, Pastor Charlie Speelman, associate pastor of Gate Church, arrived with a team of 10 young people. Pastor Charlie spoke & ministered prophetically, and the team did street evangelism, youth outreach, prayed with people, performed their drama, shared their testimonies, and ministered to the children at the farm and in a school. They also painted, moved bricks & woodpiles, and picked up trash! They were such a blessing! We were blessed by their service and dedication to the Lord! Children’s Ministry is back in full swing after a much-needed break for the faithful Mercado family who have been teaching the children at the farm, and for us to finish the new construction. In Nicaragua, we celebrate Children’s Day the 1st of June; so with the team here, we were able to use this holiday to invite parents as well as  children for ministry and a hot meal. The staff & volunteers of MCM, the Mercardo family, and the team from California all participated. We had about 75 people in attendance. [Tania starting the celebration with worship]

We'd like to introduce Tania Jael Mercardo Pérez, as she is a vital part of MCM.  She is our office secretary, event coordinator, & children's pastor. She is 21 years old, and has a business administration degree, and is learning to speak English.  She is a precious young lady who is dedicated to the Lord.  We not only appreciate her, but we love her like a daughter, as well.

La finca: Un Regalo de Dios continues to flourish with plantains, limes, & mangos; and we have added many more fruit & avocado trees. And our vision continues to grow as well.  This week, we are taking possession of the brand new tractor and various implements that the Lord has provided.  With it, we will not only maintain and plant crops for MCM, but it will also be used as an agricultural outreach tool for ministry to the community of San Joaquin. This is just the beginning of what we hope to see God do through MCM and us, His servants.

Our Immediate Needs:
1) Please remember to pray for Yolanda & I, and our finances. Our health is strong and we are eager to run the race marked out for us with excellence. As the vision and ministry of MCM continues to grow, so do our financial needs; and we trust that God will continue to provide through the monthly support & generous donations of family, friends, and churches. Your generosity and faithful financial support empowers us to continue laboring to expand the Kingdom of God on the earth--to win souls, strengthen pastors and leaders, and change lives and an entire nation for the glory of God.
2) finances for security fencing
3) finances for a warehouse to store the tractor and implements.
4) finances for a nationwide Call to Repentance Prayer Meeting for all spiritual leaders as mentioned above.

Ask the Lord what He would have YOU do to help & pray for these needs to be met quickly, as well as for our continued
strength, health, wisdom, & effectiveness!

Your tax-deductible donations make it all possible and can be sent to:
